About Us
The New Town Flower Shop began trading in Spring 1993 at the present premises in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. Since then the business has grown steadily in numbers of customers and staff, and - most importantly - reputation. We are now amongst the top Edinburgh Florists with an impressive client list.
In 1996 we applied for assessment by the Flower Council of Holland and were awarded the prize as the Top Retail Florists in Scotland and North of England.
Elaine & Mairi are qualified florists with City & Guilds diplomas in Floristry.
Our Customers are Unique!
We like them that way. We can treat each of them as individuals and create designs and services just to suit them.
We rarely provide two displays or arrangements the same (except when that’s what’s wanted.) We have no “standard, off the shelf” arrangements. That way neither our customers nor our staff ever get tired of our work.
We listen to, and often visit, our customers before agreeing what will best suit their preferences, style, and budget. We also offer advice, based on our experiences.
